As Hawkins Construction's South Island Regional manager Steve leads a large team and is responsible for overseeing all South Island projects. He has 30 years experience in the industry and has been with Hawkins for over 16 years. 

During his career at Hawkins, Steve has developed strong management skills and an accute understanding of best pratice approaches to project programming, systems and IT . His clients have come to value his excellent organisational and planning expertise, as well as his ability  to drive and coordinate multiple project stakeholders to successful project outcomes. Projects such as the Hilton Hotel in Queenstown and Victoria Apartments in Christchurch are testiment to Steve's experience and focus.

Steve’s strong commercial and technical knowledge, coupled with his passion for continual improvement,  provides him with the ability to build and motivate high performing teams to achieve outstanding results.
