Dan Ashby appointed Executive General Manager – Hawkins Construction

Hawkins Construction and parent company McConnell Group,  are pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Ashby as Executive General Manager – Hawkins Construction.

Dan will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Hawkins Construction business throughout New Zealand, reporting to David McConnell - Managing Director and CEO of McConnell Group.

He brings 32 years of extensive international and local construction, engineering and business management expertise to the role, and a hands-on understanding of Hawkins Construction, having led the Auckland Region for the past two and a half years, and more recently assuming overall responsibility for Central and Wellington operations.

With the senior and regional leadership teams, Dan will drive continued growth in our operational excellence, building on Hawkins’ established track record and strong market position to develop our aspiration to be New Zealand’s leading construction business. 

Dan will be working closely with his leadership team throughout the country, together with partners and associates, as we continue to strive to deliver great construction servicesfor all our customers.
